Dew Bear had to give up his shopping cart … GoDaddy wanted too much money to host the site. So…if you want to order books, they are available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble websites (or just type A Day in the Life of Dew in the search field of those sites), or you can drop me an e-mail ([email protected]). Books ordered directly through me are typically cheaper and will be signed copies. If you live in North Carolina, I have to charge you sales tax. And if you live somewhere I can’t just drop it off in person, then you’ll have to pay postage too!
The cost for book #1 (because it’s a few less pages) is $6.99 for paperbacks and $13.99 for hardbacks. All other books are $7.99 for paperback and $14.99 for hardbacks. (Don’t ask my why they can’t just make it an even amt – it’s some marketing ploy that I find ridiculous!).
There are 2 ways to make payment: I can take credit card purchases through Square (I’ll send you a link), or you can mail me a check (I’ll e-mail you an invoice).
Again, if interested in buying one or more books, just e-mail me ([email protected]) with your contact info, which books you want, how many, and how you want to pay for them (ck or cc). I’m working on a submission form, but this website is not user-friendly for that). I may be changing websites after the first of the year, so please “bear” with me.
(PS-you may think I make good money on selling books, but the truth is that my share is between 75 cents and 1 dollar per book – depending on the printing and freight costs. It takes over 300 hours of my time to complete each book – not to mention all the other costs involved such as copyright fees, editors, website hosting, etc. I don’t expect to get rich anytime soon, but I’ll be happy knowing Dew Bear is getting into the hands of children!).
Thanks for your interest in Dew Bear – and be sure to check out the tabs at the top to see the first 3 chapters of each book. We are excited about sharing Dew’s adventures with you!
Debbie & Dew Bear
